Will

Writing a will is the first step towards having a complete estate plan. A will tells the world exactly how you want your assets distributed when you die. It's also the best place to name guardians for your children. If you die without having made a will, your assets will pass accordingly to the laws of intestacy, which may not reflect your wishes. It is important to note that even if you have made a will, entering into a marriage or civil partnership will revoke it (unless you made it in contemplation of the marriage or civil partnership).
