Three Bank Accounts
Many remarried couples do not pool all of their assets. Often, they have three accounts: "mine," "yours" and "ours." A joint account may be best for paying a blended family's bills, but one spouse may want to have a separate account for purposes such as paying maintenance and/or child support.
