Estate Agent
An estate agent is a licensed professional who helps people buy and sell houses. An estate agent who acts for the seller aims to find a suitable buyer for the seller's property, through marketing and advertising efforts. Successful agents will typically know the neighbourhoods where they sell homes very well. Those who work for the sellers of a home will receive a commission—usually a percentage of the selling price—once the sale is closed.
