Scholarships
This is merit-based aid that will usually not need not to be repaid and is awarded according to the student's academic, athletic or artistic talent. Besides universities, many companies, trade associations, nonprofit organisations, charities and foundations offer merit-based scholarships and grants. Many university student finance centres and Websites offer information on how to apply for them. In India, scholarships are awarded by both government and private institutions. Prestigious institutes such as the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) also offer financial aid and scholarships.
