Job Application
At many companies, you must send a cover letter and a curriculum vitae (CV) to apply for a job. You might also have to fill out a job application form. Make sure you research the job's requirements before you apply, so you aren't eliminated on a technicality. Compile a document with the names and contact information for at least three references, so you can provide them to employers if they're interested. Let your references know that they may be contacted so they will be prepared.
